Alice Lyles is a lifelong resident of Gary, Indiana who believes leadership is about service, honesty, and hard work. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master of Science from Purdue University.

Alice served as a teacher in the Gary Community School System and later worked at the Gary Sanitary District as a Compliance and Policy Engagement Assistant, supporting policies and programs that benefit the community.

She is the mother of three college graduates and currently serves as Precinct Committee Member for Precinct G4-23. Alice is running for Calumet Township Trustee Board Member.

Alice is committed to continuing to serve the community with respect, integrity, and honesty. She will adhere to all financial guidelines and regulations, ensuring responsible budgets and accountable distributions, while working together for the well-being of families across the township.
